Lets say your camping at Manatee Springs and you don't want to go far but you'd like to get out of the campground an see another spring.................... well 15 minutes down the road is Fanning Springs! Its like something out of a fairy tale. The park is beautiful and the water is outstanding. If your hungry there is a conceission stand or you can BBQ. Pets are welcomed but you can't take them down to the water.
There is a platform you can jump off into the spring or you can snorkel

They do have cottages for rent but no camping. There is a boardwalk that takes you to the Suwannee river where you can fish. You can also bring a boat up to the swimming area.

You can jump off the dock into the spring.

Fanning has a floating dock around it and makes it a good size swimming area. Behind it is The Suwannee river.
